• Hi Lo 13 European Blackjack is played like any other blackjack variant.

• The hands of the dealer and player are then checked to see if anyone has blackjack.
• Should no blackjack be present, the round will continue until the player is satisfied enough with their hand to stand.

Hi Lo 13 European Blackjack is a variation based on European Blackjack rules. However, there are some additional changes to spice up European Blackjack:
• As mentioned above, there is the additional side-bet. This means wins can be accumulated.
• The side bet allows you to bet on one of three options: that your hand will have the ‘Hi’ if your hand is higher than 13; your hand will have the ‘Lo’ if the hand total is less than 13; or your hand will the ‘13’ if the hand totals 13.
• In this variation, each card will keep its value, with the exception of an ace which is counted as one.
• Hi Lo 13 European Blackjack is played with two standard 52-card decks.


Card values in blackjack

Different cards carry different values:
• Aces have the value of one or 11; players and dealer can determine the value.
• Cards between two and 10 maintain their face value.
• Kings, queens, and jacks have the value of 10.

Blackjack: The highest possible hand attainable in the game. It consists of receiving an ace and 10 in the first two cards dealt.
Bust: Bust is a hand that exceeds a total of 21.
